We are producing a feature-length documentary to capture the extraordinary century-long journey of The Girl Friends, Inc. — the friendships, the service, the culture, and the enduring legacy of African American women who changed their communities.
The Girl Friends Centennial Documentary will be a feature-length film capturing the extraordinary 100-year journey of one of America’s most distinguished African American women’s organizations. Through interviews, archival footage, and original storytelling, we will preserve the voices, accomplishments, and legacy of Girl Friends past and present.
This film is not just for us — it is for our daughters, our communities, and for anyone who believes that stories of Black women’s excellence deserve to be told and preserved.
